too often we fall into a trap
a quandary
whether to do this or that
which only begs the question

while the real nemesis lurks in the background
the shadows, unidentified

whatever is done must proceed from the strength
of PROPER PRINCIPLES, STRENGTH of CHARACTER
herein lies the real battleground
herein lies victory or defeat

all that is right and good emanates from this moment

from the depths of our Primal Being
not as a consequence of strategy, this followed by that
devised by the ever-deceitful ego

but as result of STRENGTH OF CHARACTER
