Beyond words
there is an experience of unity, harmony, joy
beyond words
requires only that we forget
the historical accident
that is one's self

...there is a sacred thread
that runs thru our lives
but, it is beyond words

an offering of silence
awakens a subtle energy
omnipotent
and thus influence attains on earth

there is so much sorrow
sadness and despair
in the world
one can only wonder why
yet
i think it has a purpose
to dispose each of us
to incarnate as much Light
into our lives as possible

...for if the way of Light
if given free reign in the world
yea
if we are even docile to the Divine Nature of Things
Light will find expression on earth
and in our lives

in spiritual practice
there is a moment
when contemplation of the divine
induces a reflexive sacrificial response
and in this, there is transcendence

as i sat here, musing
partaking of one of life's
priceless joys, i got lost
i say..
browsing the menu
mis-taking one of life's
illusive symbols for the sacred, itself

thank you oh merciful one within
i don't know what of life is left...
what is about to begin, what is about to end
